vp day martin place cenotaph
on sunday 15 august 2010 a small contingent of nz veterans and their families attended the official vp day commemoration at the martin place cenotaph.
in attendence was the governor of nsw prof marie bashir and many other digantaries including greg makutu and indigenous veteran sub-mariner david williams. Also in attendence were neville berridge, margaret mcinroy, barrie leslie, and sam wihongi and his wife.
unfortunately this year it coincided with the springwood march and service which some of the other nz veterans attended.
