Veterans, the nsw branch held their mid-year lunch on Sunday 31 july 2011 at the chatswood rsl club.

the lunch is another nice opportunity for veterans to meet and chat over a lunchtime meal. There is normally not great numbers to the lunch but for those that attend, its always nice to see each other again and exchange stories past and present.

last year 96 year old 1221 T/ssgt Frank Harlow took the opportunity to relate his experiences in Greece and Crete. and it was very nice that Frank was once again able to join us at the mid-year lunch this year.

but it was also very nice that two more over 90 year old Veterans also attended: Maurice Borland and Arch Campbell.

It was a very moving lunch and something we will look forward to every year.
