Dear Veterans, in an attempt to generate open discussion on a number of issues or even general comments you have about veteran matters in general but preferably NZ Veterans, I have attempted to create a Discussion/Bulletin Board but also known as a Online Forum for your use.

The benefit of a Forum over email distribution list or yahoo group list is that:The benefit of a Forum over email distribution list or yahoo group list is that:

• It does not clog up your email
• It does not clog up your Outlook requiring you to delete or export your emails, and
• It remains on the website for all to see (only registered users) regardless of any changes to your situation e.g. change of email address.

Therefore, as this is a NZ Veteran website you will need to register first so I can then approve your registration. However, I would like your service details if possible please because I will have no idea whether you are a NZ Veteran or not. It would also help if you could have someone verify you as a NZ Veteran which would be great.

I apologise for any inconvenience but if I left the board ‘open’ or I verified someone who was not a NZ Veteran, anyone could access it and write rubbish which would defeat the purpose of having a forum specifically for NZ Veterans. So it may take me time to get you verified but I do seek your patience and understanding.

I am not a web designer or developer and have no knowledge of the technical aspects of websites including online forums but maybe at a later time someone who is technically proficient may want to volunteer to take over the management of the forum.
